Born on Wednesday 18 July mid seventies in Kumasi to Twum Barima and Abena Fowaa ,a headteacher then, and a trader respectively. Both natives of Sekyedumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana
Affectionately called K Gyasi,( at home and by close allies)
Had early education in hometown, continued in Ashaiman government school and Sogakofe Secondary School.
Had a teachers certificate A Post Secondary Education in Akrokerri Training College.
Taught for two years in Anyinasu, while attaining Advance Level Certificate
Entered into the University of Education, Winneba in 1998 for Diploma and B Ed.Degree in Science Education
Pioneered Radio Lectures (Radio Distance Learning) on Windy Bay FM.(University of Education) Winneba
While in Kumasi during “Mobrowa” struggles I worked at Radio Mercury 91.5fm as Drive host.
One of the Pioneers of the GBC Uniiq Fm project along with Nana Aba Anamoah TV3, Lamisi Dabre, and Prince Tsegah
Hosted the Uniiq Breakfast Drive.
Worked at Sunrise fm GBC Koforidua.

Married to Nana Densua a fashion Designer and a Supervisor at
Woodin a subsidiary of Premier African Textiles
Has two children, Wahid and K Gyasi Jnr
Has had some foreign travels, UK, Germany and some West African countries
Currently owns an Entertainment company (KLASS ENTERTAINMENT)working on some TV series among some outdoor shows and artist management.
Dislikes dishonesty. But trust anyone I come across till you give me a cause to avoid you permanently
Host the ROADMASTER a road safety educative quiz competition on TV 3.
Enjoy driving around the countryside especially on week ends.
Eat almost everything. But Plantain and kontomire raw stew sets me crazy
I see every morning as the greatest opportunity given me by God to make positive difference in the lives of my cherished listeners. I pray I live up to expectation with God’s guidance.
