Abeiku Santana is one of Ghana’s famous radio personalities who have gone through the smooth and rough faces with over 10 years experience in the radio industry.
Intrestingly I can best describe myself am very friendly,cheerful,outgoing, honest and sincere,crazy,cool,silly,predictable,unpredictable,wise and simple
I have done stand up comedy in the past but my true love and passion is for outdoors, nature, and traveling.
Am being told that am a whirlwind of fun and can make people laugh. I like to collect many things including arts and photograph.

From the nation’s capital Accra, to Koforidua, Kumasi, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Sunyani and Tamale, Abeiku is a household name in broadcasting.

Abeiku started radio in 1997 from Vibe Fm after friends and colleagues encouraged me to go into radio because I had the flair and style for emceeing.

However, getting into radio wasn’t by default because Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey according to his father James Ben Aggrey, was named after a broadcaster, the late Gilbert Ankrah of GBC later Barima Ohemeng Kwatiah.

Abeiku Santana “on air everywhere” in Ghana attributes it to God Almighty Jehovah for the success and fame he has chalked in the industry.

I share my success with great renowed broadcasters such as Mike Eghan, Uncle Charlie Sam, Tommy Annan Forson, grandmaster Godwin Avenogbor
Wendy Williams in America and Richard Quest of CNN London among many experienced players in whom I draw some inspiration.

Abeiku has worked with Radio ZFm now Eastern fm in Koforidua from 1997 to 1999. He then moved to Kumasi, Radio Mercury from 1999-2001, as the assistant programmes manager. He later joined the sky group of companies’ owner of Ash Fm in Kumasi, as the late afternoon show host and also a sales and marketing supervisor.

After returning from Europe in 2002, Abeiku Santana joined Multimedia group company limited owners of Adom Fm where he has been working as the drive time host of Ofiekwanso from 2pm to 6pm weekdays.
Abeiku Santana is the head of music programmes at Adom Fm a position that he really enjoys because of his passion for good music that stimulates the brain and release stress. Rita Marley Kelvin Little, Wayne wonder, Prince Midas,HugheMassekella,FredieMeiway,Kojo Antwi,Daddy Lumba,Amakye Dede, A.B Crentsil,Pat Thomas,Tagoe Sister, Daughters of glorious sisters,Reggie Rockstone, Ofori Amponsah and Batman Sammini are among many musicians who have also shared their pride and joy with Abeiku on the radio.

His amusing, inspiring and educative late afternoon show Ofiekwanso on Adom Fm has earned him a lot of laurels, honors, awards and respect in the society including the best drive time presenter in the capital awarded by RTV in 2003.
One of Abeiku Santana’s jingles proclaims a listener has enjoyed his program to the extent of missing an STC bound bus.

Santana is courteous to all but intimate with few. During his phone-in program Kyenkyenkuma, he has a loyal band of regular callers some are a bit “mad” others are funny yet he has a great banter with them.

Santana has mastered ceremonies from the streets to markets, to theaters, concerts and many more.
In 2003, he hosted the Ghana Music Awards, UK and in 2004 hosted the Ghana music awards in Ghana. In 2003, he again hosted the Miss Ghana New York, America.

Abeiku is a member of the National Legal Assistants Associations, USA, The Ghana Journalist Association and The Human Rights Action Group.

Abeiku has an A’Level and a GCE O’Level from Ghana Secondary School in Koforidua and Ghana National College in Cape Coast respectively.
In 2003 he obtained an Advance Certificate in Public Relations/Advertising and Marketing from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
He proceeded to New York Paralegal School in New York from 2004 to 2005 where He studied Litigation and Legal studies and obtained associate degree.
Returning to Ghana after a year Santana continued His education at Ghana Institute of Management and Professional Studies (GIMPA) Legon in 2006 where He received second class upper postgraduate certificate in Public Administration

Married with four children namely James Benjamin, Princess Kesewaah Nana Egyiriba and Aba Benyiwah.
My favorite dish jollof rice is good for me weekdays except on weekends that I want domestication “fufu”.
